We stay up to date with the latest trends and have the best fitness experts on hand to ensure that the exercise equipment in our clubs always stays up to date. Our Gym is made up of 7 zones. Have a look at the different training zones below and get a first glance of what Basic Gym has to offer.

SOCIAL AREA

When you enter our gym, there is a social area you can relax or meet your gym buddy. Just sit relax and enjoy the healthy beverages form our vending machines before, during or after your workout!

FUNCTIONAL ZONE

This zone has a range of equipment you can use to exercise and get ready for what may come across outside the gym. Here, you can use equipment like a functional rack, sled track, slam balls, plio boxes, bumper plates, olympic bars and kettlebells.

CARDIO ZONE

We have a large range of cardio equipment. Perfect for improving your fitness and burning off calories. You will be training on Technogym equipment. These machines are easy to use, but if you have any problems please ask a member of staff who will be happy to help!

FREE WEIGHT ZONE

In addition to the cardio and weight-training equipment, our Basic Gym also has a range of free weights. In the Free Weight zone you can train with dumbbells upto 50kg, barbells, kettlebells and plates. Generally speaking, this will give you a more general weight workout than when you train with the machines. This is because you are moving freely and the muscles have to work together to lift the weight.

RESISTANCE ZONE

Our resistance training area boasts a selection of high-quality Technogym machines, from shoulder press, chest press, lat pulldown and low row to leg extension, leg curl, leg press, and more, we're well prepared to support your resistance training journey.

STRENGTH ZONE

The different weight training equipment in the Strength zone will help you work on all your muscle groups. There is clear information on equipment with weights on cables about what muscles it will help to strengthen. You can set up all the equipment to your length and preferred weight.
