Club rules
Basic Gym reserves the right to update these rules at any time. Any changes take effect immediately upon publication. The most up-to-date version is available on this page.
2. Lock it up
Lock your belongings away at all times. We’re not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
3. Keep it clean
Re-rack your weights. Wipe down equipment after use. Keep bags off the gym floor and food & drinks out of training areas. A clean gym is everyone’s gym—and it saves you the side-eye.
4. Train with us
Work hard, push each other, bring the energy—but don’t coach. Only BasicGym Personal Trainers are allowed to train clients in-club. No external trainers or side gigs. No exceptions.
5. Respect the space
Simply put: don’t be that person. Respect the equipment, the space, and the people around you. Anything less ruins the vibe fast.
We have zero tolerance for racism, sexism, discrimination, harassment, or intimidation of any kind. If something doesn’t feel right, speak to the team in club or report it via email.
5 Train safe
For your safety and the safety of others, you cannot use the gym while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substances that may impair your judgement or coordination. This includes prescription medication or other substances that could affect your ability to train safely.
If a member is visibly intoxicated or not in a fit state to use the facilities properly, Basic Gym reserves the right to refuse access or ask them to leave the premises.
6 Fire/emergency doors
To keep everyone safe, you must not block or interfere with the fire/emergency or alternative access doors, or tamper with the fire extinguishers (unless in a genuine emergency).
7 Dress the part
You can’t train without the right kit. Wear appropriate gym clothing—no jeans, flip-flops, or anything unsafe or offensive. And yes, keep your top (and shoes) on at all times while training.
8 Think before you film
We get it—you’re proud of your progress. But be respectful when filming.
Changing rooms, toilets, and sauna areas are strictly no-photo zones. On the gym floor, film your lifts—not other people. Tripods, stands, and filming equipment aren’t allowed unless approved by the team.
All content must comply with club rules. Planning a professional shoot? Get it cleared with the team first.
