BasicGym started with one idea: a big, clean, properly equipped gym that feels premium, priced so anyone can walk in and train. No frills you will never use. No contract. Just everything you actually need.
It began in
Long Eaton.
There was a gap. The big chains were fine if you could afford them. The small independents were fine if you knew the owner. In between, there was nothing that felt good to train in without paying a premium for a pool and a spa you would never touch.
So we built it. A large, open, spotless gym with proper equipment, long hours and real people on the floor, priced so it is an easy yes. Members noticed. The gym filled on word of mouth alone, before a single advert ran.
Simple on purpose.
Everything we leave out is deliberate. It is what keeps the price low and the gym good.
No frills, no waste
No pool, no spa, no gimmicks. The money goes into the equipment and the space you actually train with.
Real service
Staff who say hello. Trainers who will show you how to use anything, free. You are a member, not a number.
